About us
Baulking Grange is situated just outside the picturesque hamlet of Baulking, at the foot of the historic Ridgeway Road, and surrounded by the beautiful rolling Oxfordshire countryside. Visitors to Baulking Grange will explore the ancient trails on forward going, well schooled horses and ponies, and will enjoy some of the best riding in England. Our routes take us through charming villages where we will pause for lunch, and on the rolling Berkshire Downs, home to many of our most famous racehorses.
Horses and riders are accommodated in specially selected guesthouses along the way, each offering a different experience, but most with full en-suite facilities.
Baulking Grange is a British Horse Society Approved Riding Establishment. We offer tuition to all levels, and our range of horses reflect this.
About you
Our holidays offer a unique opportunity to combine exhilarating riding with the chance to brush up on jumping or dressage skills, and are therefore ideal for capable riders, secure at walk, trot and canter. For the more novice rider we can offer less demanding options, with perhaps more tuition tailored to suit individual needs.
Children are welcome from the age of ten, provided that they are part of a family booking. We regret we cannot accept unaccompanied children under the age of sixteen.

Two-day Trail Ride
Explore the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, riding a well mannered forward-going horse on ancient bridleways with views for miles around. Break for lunch on the historic Ridgeway, and stay in farmhouse accommodation where a warm welcome awaits both horse and rider

Children’s Pony Camp
Baulking Grange Pony Camps provide an exciting and enjoyable experience for pony-mad children from 8-13 years old. Campers stay in large tents in the grounds, supervised by our experienced staff. Meals are taken in the staff house, and barbeques are a popular feature of the stay.
